Why We Started Emalene

We started Emalene in 2018. After moving to a new city and leaving a house we loved, we realized that there is a big difference between a home and a house. After the movers packed up our belongings and were on their way to our new house, I walked around our previous home. I then realized, it was no longer our home but just a house.

Even with boxes unpacked, our new house still didn’t feel like home. Not until we hung our pictures and placed our decorative touches did it finally feel like home. After the boxes were gone and decor was placed, it was finally the peaceful and relaxing feeling that home should have.

Emalene means “peaceful home” and that is exactly what we want to help you with. Our products are chosen or made with the purpose of helping create that peaceful and relaxing atmosphere that your home should bring.
